I have many favorites, but Rogue makes some absolutely splendid beers. Hard to pick a favorite among them though.

I like to drink a bunch of different stuff but the stock brew here at home is usually Yuengling Lager which is made in Pottsville PA. Yuengling is the oldest brewery in America that is still operating. \r\n\r\nOne of the good things about this time of year is that Octoberfest beers are available. Sam Adams makes a real good one. Beck's is pretty good too!\r\n\r\nVM

\r\nI just tried one of those (Yuengling Lager) for the first time last Saturday night. I don't get out much anymore since I'm getting so old :D, but the place I went to had it on tap. It was pretty good, but I like a little bit more body to my beer. Of course, for an every day beer, something a little less heavy actually makes pretty good sense. \r\n\r\nVinnie, have you ever had Sam Adams' Winter Lager? That's probably my favorite beer that's widely available and that I don't have to go to a specialty store to find.

If I don't put any thought or effort into it I'll drink a Corona or Sierra Nevada Ale.\r\nBut the best beer I've ever had was a small brand found up around Bakersfield (Yeeedanmhaaaaww!) called \"Double Z\". They have a raspeberry wheat beer that's tasty! :D

I don't drink these days, but in the old days Everard's Old Original, brewed in Leicester UK - it's an English real ale that tastes like chocolate. Mmmm! They do a stronger one called Old Bill, but after a couple of those one tends to go blind!\r\n\r\nI used to like Guinness Extra Cold.\r\n\r\nThere's another English ale I used to like called Porter - it tastes like a cross between Guinness and Coffee.\r\n\r\nI like the sound of that raspberry wheat beer!

Time Traveler had Cold English Beer? When I was there, a cold beer (Aile) meant is wasnt 'warmer' than room temperature. I liked 'Red Stripe\", but 2 pints of that was like a six pack of U.S. Beer. Carling Black label also had some great TV commercials (Aile was like motor oil).\r\n\r\nJEFF
